Rooi Boekenhout (Protorhus)

 The Red Beech tree is known as a Protorhus longifolia, or Rooi Boekenhout in Arikaans. These leaves were picked up on the Eco-trail near the Westville country club squash courts.  On the back of this print are also impressions from a red Hibiscus flower, found in the same vicinity. Searching the plus code on Google maps will show you what the area looks like.
